This is by far, the worst “proof” of the Christian God, that I have ever heard. We live in now, and while my life won't matter to the universe one jot or tittle in a billion years, it matters now. I don't understand why some people are so hung up on "ultimate" meaning. So, if we are in a simulation, then it was either made by a group of devs or one person, in the case of a singular dev, I don't see how the situation is anywhere close to being like Yahweh. Yes they both can do anything, but when it comes to demands and personality they are either nothing alike or we are stuck with a dev who is close to being a psychopath. I think that being a simulation or not doesn't mater, in both cases we have to look into how the universe works, we have to understand it and how to use it at our advantage. If we ever get to the point where we have dug deep enough in how the place works and we find a way to manipulate reality itself, like magic is often depicted, in a way similar to coding, then it would be safe to start thinking we are in a simulation. I feel like I was a bit rambly, my apologies if it's not that clear, I just woke up and still foggy.

Logic is not true anymore than a hammer is true. Logic is just a tool that can be used in certain circumstances to achieve certain results. Logic just works if it is used correct and the raw materials (axioms) are sound.
